ARLINGTON, VA, Apr. 19, 2023 – District Dogs is proud to announce the official Grand Opening of its new location at National Landing on May 6th, 2023. The state-of-the-art facility, situated at the new Amazon HQ2 campus, will offer the full range of blue-ribbon pet services that District Dogs is known for.
District Dogs began construction at National Landing after being named the doggy daycare of choice for Amazon employees. “This store marks our sixth location in the Greater DC Area, with one more on the way in Old Town Alexandria due later this year. When presented with the opportunity to join Amazon at Metropolitan Park… well, that’s just not something you pass up,” remarked Jacob Hensley, owner and CEO of District Dogs. “We’re thrilled for the opportunity to meet fellow dog lovers throughout the National Landing neighborhood, and extend our services to a whole new community of pups and their owners. Bring on the belly rubs!”
The new location will provide dog owners with access to doggy daycare, overnight boarding, dog training, structured daycare, dog grooming and spa treatments, as well as a large event space available for rentals and birthday “paw-ties”. Extending their convenient and comprehensive services further into Northern Virginia has been evident of District Dogs’ business plan for some time. The announcement of their Grand Opening at National Landing comes just two months after announcing their plans to franchise nation-wide.
“We’re asking everyone to join in the celebration at our Open House on Saturday, May 6th,” said a District Dogs spokesperson. “Grab your pup and stop by for a sneak peak of the new location before we officially open the following Monday.” The Open House is set to take place from 10 AM-2 PM on Saturday, May 6. The event will feature pet-friendly neighborhood vendors, doggy crafts, and, of course, plenty of treats.
