One such team member is David, who joined us in June of this year and has already made a significant impact with his unique blend of experience, knowledge, and genuine love for dogs.
David’s journey with dogs started early in life. Growing up, he was surrounded by furry companions, and it was his grandfather, a seasoned trainer of military dogs, who imparted invaluable training techniques and wisdom to him. This early exposure and hands-on learning shaped David into the skilled and empathetic handler he is today.
In our Structured Daycare program, David’s approach is both thoughtful and tailored. He believes in spending one-on-one time with each dog, understanding their individual personalities and specific needs. This personalized attention allows him to create the best possible daycare experience for every pup. Once he has a sense of each dog’s temperament and preferences, David carefully organizes them into groups where they can thrive socially and enjoy their time to the fullest.
David’s commitment to dogs doesn’t end when he leaves work. In his spare time, he dedicates himself to his two German Shepherds, Cairo and Creed. These loyal companions are not just pets but partners in his active lifestyle. David enjoys taking them on runs, ensuring they get ample exercise and mental stimulation, which keeps them happy and healthy.
What sets David apart is his holistic approach to dog care. He combines his grandfather’s time-tested training methods with modern, compassionate techniques, creating a balanced and effective way of managing and nurturing the dogs at District Dogs.
